I've been meaning to write you for several weeks to tell you how much we absolutely love the photos you took at our wedding. When the link to the website arrived, I had just gotten back to the hotel after my cousin's wedding and my mom and I stayed up until 2 am enjoying the photos. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos. You told me before the wedding that we would hardly know that you were there and it was absolutely true. You captured a lot of very personal moments on film that I remember, but I don't remember you being there, which means that you and Casie didn't interfere at all. You were both extremely kind and patient with our family and friends as well as completely unobtrusive, but you managed to capture all of the special moments we both remember (and a lot more that we were too busy or overwhelmed to take in). My favorite photos are the candids that you captured in the moment. Watching the slideshow of photos really makes me feel like I was there again. Holmes Photography is AMAZING! During our wedding, I had countless people come up to us and tell me how much they enjoyed our photographers. One of my main concerns about proposing over the 4th of July weekend was finding a great photographer who was affordable and would be available on short notice. Chris Holmes is easygoing, fun and has a great eye for getting the pics you wouldn't think of. Our two year old tends to be pretty skeptical of photographers, which makes photo shoots hard on my husband and I -- we usually end up being stressed and sweaty by the end of it, praying we got at least two or three good ones! Not this time...Chris was looked at by our son warily upon arrival, but within minutes he'd made our son comfortable and ended up getting so many great photos that truly captured the essence and personality of the toddler we know and love.
